Countywide Information
- There are no Fire Departments in the County that provide primary fire protection beyond their own town borders. However, over the last decade, more and more departments rely on mutual aid for initial structure fire responses.
INTEROPERABILITY INFORMATION
- Northcentral Intercity provides interoperability primarily Hartford County but also extending outward into adjacent municipalities.
- Towns near Massachusetts also have WMLEC FD Intercity, the Springfield area intercity channel.
