Massachusetts State Police The Massachusetts State Police own a Motorola Type II 800 Mhz Trunking System which covers most of the state The system is divided into "Smartzones" and the State Police Department is divided into "Troops" The State Police also has access to several conventional frequencies. The MSP Low-Band Frequencies are used somewhat frequently in most parts of the state.
