The standard CMED frequencies are used for ambulance to hospital communications
The system is for the most part SIMPLEX. EMS patches are controlled via the Barnstable County Sheriff's Department Dispatch Center.
Dispatchers can switch between various towers on Cape Cod depending on the area in which the communicating ambulance is transiting.

Use a 173.8 PL for the CMED BASE frequencies only, and leave the mobile (468 MHz) frequencies as CSQ (carrier squelch).
