MAINE FOREST SERVICE

  • Maine Forest Service is part of the Department of Agriculture, Conservation & Forestry (DACV).
  • MFS has begun using the MSCOMMNET system to a limited extent.
  • The future of the MFS conventional repeater system is undetermined but some sites may stay in service to supplement the digital system in the event of a major forest fire.
