The Southern Worcester County Fire Mutual Aid Network operates on 33.62 MHz with a PL of 131.8. The Primary Use of this network is for requesting mutual aid from surrounding towns and activating District 7 Strike Teams. Two weekly tests and roll call are conducted, One conducted by Station 25 Southbridge on Tuesday evenings at 19:30 hrs. The second is conducted by Station 41 Northbridge on Saturday at 11:30 hrs. In a previous life, stations radios had to be opened up with a DTMF code, the codes were 70## where ## is the station number (i.e. 7010 for Station 10) or 7*** to open up all radios. Now a days, most stations have always open radios although the DTMF is still used for the tests and if a response is not received.
