The Rhode Island State Capitol Police Provide Security also to Court Houses and in other State Government Buildings. It is believed that they are using Low-Power Portables (453.500 possibly) in some locations. But Mainly seems like they are using NEXTEL and  Landline, since they are more of Site Police Officers and do not have police cruisers except for around the State Capitol Building area. Private Security does supplement the Rhode Island State Capitol Police as needed in some locations, but mostly during over nights.
